NHS App

If you’re a patient at our practice you can now use the new NHS App, a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet.

You can use the NHS App to check your symptoms and get instant advice, book appointments, order repeat prescriptions, view your GP medical record and more.

If you already use ‘Patient Access’ you can continue to use it. You can use the NHS App as well.

Patient Access

We now offer Patient Access to all our registered patients aged 16 years old and over.

The use of the secure website enables patients to view, book and cancel appointments, request repeat medication and view parts of your health records from home work or on the move – wherever you can connect to the internet.

What is more, because Patient Access is a 24 hour online service you can do this in your own time day or night.

How do I register?

To register for Patient Access you will need a form from us containing personalised access codes.

To get this form you need to ask at reception for Patient Access where you will be given a patient information sheets and a consent form to complete and return to the practice or print copies of all the Patient Access forms from the “OUR DOCUMENT” section of the website.

Once the practice has received your signed consent form you will be asked to return at a later date to collect your registration form where you will need to show two forms of identification one photo ID ( i.e. passport/driving licence) the second must show your name and address i.e. utility bill, statement in the last 3 months.

The registration form details the information that you will need to be able to create your account. Please look after this information carefully, if you have forgotten your user ID or password or suspect that your account has been accessed by someone without your agreement please use the facility on the Patient Access home page or contact the Surgery immediately. (IMPORTANT: The practice must have your email address and mobile number stored to use these features).

NB. Please allow a minimum of 5 working days before returning to pick up your registration.

Is my information secure?

All information that is sent to your surgery via Patient Access is secure. Your personal details are encrypted and protected using the highest standard internet security, so it cannot be intercepted. Only you and your GP surgery are able to see this information.

The practice has the right to remove online access to services for anyone that doesn’t use them responsibly.
